Origin of Ulster Centre awards

What a glittering evening we had at the Ulster Centre Prizegiving Dinner 2017. The room was filled with both prize winners and friends of the club looking their sparkling best. Well done our Hon. Sec. Carol Willis for putting the evening together for us behind the scenes. The buzz in the room was fantastic.
Well done all the winners of Derek Walker awards and to class and overall winners of our club championships.
We were most fortunate to have the President of the MG Car Club, John Day to award the prizes and to remind us in the course of his speech that people, not cars, are what is important in our car club. And indeed, it was evident in the room that all our clubs benefit from the Marque of Friendship.
Present were many from the TSCC, UAC and the Peak Performance clubs and their assistance has been invaluable throughout the past year. Similarly, our ladies have done us proud at our major events and we thank them for all their help.
Thanks too to Simon Johnston who has revived our centre newsletter with the publication of the first issue of the MaGazine. Feedback has been excellent.
Finally, we offer our thanks to Chairman John Clarke for seeing us through the past year in such an energetic way. Well done John.
