It is with great sadness and regret that we report the passing of our friend Conn Williamson. Conn was the ultimate gentleman. Soft spoken, he would have done anyone a favour, never expecting anything in return. He generously allowed our club to use his land for autotests for a number of years. Although quiet by nature, he loved friendly banter and his laughter exuded a real pleasure.
Another joy, other than his family, was his love of BMWs and rallying. Happy to be in the co-driver seat, he and Tony McLaughlin pushed the orange 2002tii hard on many an event including our recent Night Trial.
Our friend Conn will be greatly missed.
